Simplethings Music Video by Miguel


“Simplethings” is the new music video for Miguel’s “Simplethings,” the latest track from the second soundtrack For HBO’s Girls. The Girls’ music supervisor, Manish Raval, told Shannon Carlin in an interview for Radio.com in January that Lena Dunham – the Girl’s creator – requested the song. “Very early on in the process Lena said, ‘Can we just call him and see if he’ll do something?'” Raval told Carlin. “We did, he said yes. It was very easy.” Singer and model Gigi Hadid stars with Miguel in the sultry story.

The 56th Annual Grammy Award Winners 2014

The 56th Annual Grammy Award winners were announced at their ceremony in Los Angeles on January 26th, 2014. The National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (NARAS) of the United States first presented awards in 1959 to honor musical accomplishments by prominent oerformers and artists in the music industry. NARAS revamped its categories in 2011 to accommodate a wider range of categories and accomplishments.

“Muscle Shoals” documents the history of one of the greatest recording studios in the U.S. and the artists who recorded there. Located on the shore of the Tennessee River, Muscle Shoals, Alabama is the breeding ground for some of America’s most creative and defiant music. Art and Life, Birth and Death


Why are we filmmakers, photographers, film goers, critics…authors, writers and actors…painters, animators and singers…why are we?

Humans search for their place and meaning by living, and almost to a single individual, that definition is, well…singular, unique, self inspired and self-illuminated. “Art washes away the dust of everyday life”, said Pablo Picasso. I believe that he meant is that without the expressions and experiences we make through our personal creative efforts, life is a slow moving way to collect dust.
