“Let’s Be Cops” follows two failed thirty-somethings who couldn’t get a date if their lives depended on it going to a costume party…dressed as cops. What could possibly go wrong? Now they are neighborhood sensations and quickly realize they can get everything they’ve been missing – women, drugs, food and a license to say whatever they want and get away with it. They soon get more than they bargained for when the newly-minted buddy cops get tangled in a real-world web of mobsters and dirty detectives.
“Land Ho” is a comedy about two men who take a road trip to Iceland to try and reclaim their youth through Reykjavik nightclubs, trendy spas, and rugged campsites. The men, lifelong friends who also happen to be ex-brothers-in-law, decide to spontaneously take the trip in search of the things they have not yet done, to feel young again. The story explores aging, loneliness and the relationship that exists between two men who have already lived much of their lives.
“Prince Avalanche” is the tale of two men assigned to repaint traffic lines on an isolated rural road through a landscape ravaged by forest fires. Like the lines on the road, it seems like an endless and monumental undertaking with absolutely no one to talk to but each other. Directed by David Gordon Green (Pineapple Express). Starring Paul Rudd, Emile Hirsch and Lance LeGault.
