Bacall passed away in her New York home August 12th, 2014. Bacall is best known for her films starring with Humphrey Bogart, who she married after their first film together at age twenty. She was ‘discovered’ by the wife of director Howard Hawks who saw her on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar.

“Interview With Jean Luc Godard at Cannes 2014” features a personal and intimate discussion with the legendary filmmaker about his philosophies, career and his new film “Adieu au Langage” (Goodbye to Language), which has just premièred at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival, winning the Jury Prize in a rare tie with Xavier Dolan. Godard did not attend Cannes, but the filmmaker’s presence was all around with the premiere of his first foray into 3D. Godard delivered a personal video letter the Cannes organizers apologizing for his absence.
