Every photographer and filmmaker knows the importance of understanding light and lighting. The creative control of lighting can make the difference between a good moment and a great moment in the viewfinder. ARRI has released “Introduction to Lighting” – a beginners tutorial on lighting.
ARRI has just released the ARRI beginners’ workshop featuring lighting tutor Dennis Jackstien walking through the characteristics of different light sources and lighting fixtures. Jackstien explains the basics of lighting design by working on a number of different scenes, covering techniques such as three-point lighting and interview setups. From the ARRI company description:
