The near-mythical “Halo 5″ is one of the most-anticipated releases of the video game industry. The newest installment has received much attention in the last year when release date rumors – expected to release possibly in the latter half of 2014 – and the official trailer at E3 last year.
Developed by 343 Industries, which developed Halo 4, the game was initially announced with a 2014 release date for the Xbox One. ‘Halo 5′ was not intended to be its launch title, but will aim to take “full advantage” of the Xbox One’s specs, including its dedicated servers, and marking the move to next-generation, Halo 5 will be the first in the series to run at a 60fps frame rate.
Xbox One owners are still wondering when the original sci-fi king will return…exactly. Although it’s been teased with images and featured on magazine covers, there is still no official word when it’s going to be ready. However, Microsoft VP Phil Spencer told a fan via Twitter in February that 343 industries will have an announcement at this year’s E3 gaming expo in Los Angeles – June 10-12, 2014 – saying “Halo news will be coming at E3. 343i has a great plan in place, will be cool to share with everyone.”
We’ll add new information and trailers as it becomes available…if you have new or updated information, we welcome your comments.

The original content includes 12 projects, with six “committed” and six in development, covering a range of genres including documentary, sci-fi, concert and comedy.
