This is the first debut of Michael Jackson’s music video release “Michael Jackson – A Place With No Name” from Jackson’s posthumous Xscape album. From the music video release description:

Xscape is an album of previously unreleased Michael Jackson songs. The album is produced and curated by Epic Records Chairman and CEO L.A. Reid, who retooled the production to add a fresh, contemporary sound that retains Jackson’s essence and integrity. It’s a process Reid calls “contemporizing.” The list of producers include global hitmakers Timbaland, Rodney Jerkins, Stargate, and John McClain.

Music’s most-followed artists have long shared behind-the-scenes moments on and off stage, offering exclusives to their fans like concert tickets and first listens. Tonight on Twitter is no different, with fans around the world watching the Twitter premiere of the new video for “A Place with No Name,” the most recent single from @MichaelJackson’s chart-topping posthumous album “XSCAPE.”

The music video features a combination of old and new footage tying the visuals together with the lyrics. The archive footage of Jackson dancing are by Herb Ritts for “In The Closet”. Michael Jackson – A Place With No Name was filmed by Samuel Bayer who also directed Justin Timberlake’s “What Goes Around Comes Around” and other music videos for Lenny Kravitz and The Rolling Stones.
