“Introduction to DSLR Filmmaking” is a basic tutorial created by filmmakers Fenchel and Janisch who started working in filmmaking in 2005. Their production company produces corporate films for small businesses and has helped them develop the skills to help others improve their filmmaking. As techniques and technology developed, they switched their entire filmmaking process and equipment from HDV to DSLR cameras in 2010. Based in the German city of Frankfurt, they are passionate about creating DSLR filmmaking tutorials. Their vision is to become more international with their work helping others to improve their skills in filmmaking as well as shooting and producing videos, commercials and documentary films worldwide.

Stanton was educated at The California Institute of the Arts (CalArts) in Los Angeles, where he studied character animation. Stanton began working as a writer on the TV series Mighty Mouse, the New Adventures (1987) after he graduated. The VFX software maker Red Giant has announced their community-centered environment Red Giant Universe and detailed information about the tools and plugins that will be available to registered users of the Universe. The Red Giant Universe is not unlike the Adobe Creative Cloud offering a subscription that provides access to some or all features.
“The Hollywood Reporter Directors Roundtable 2013″ is hosted by Matt Belloni and Stephen Galloway of The Hollywood Reporter. They sat down with Steve McQueen (12 Years a Slave), Paul Greengrass (Captain Phillips), David O. Russell (American Hustle), Ben Stiller (The Secret Life of Walter Mitty), Alfonso Cuaron (Gravity) and Lee Daniels (The Butler) to discuss their movies and talk about their methods and styles as writers and directors.
“The Art of Close-Ups” is a short film featuring director Edgar Wright (The World’s End, Shaun of the Dead, Scott Pilgrim vs the World, Hot Fuzz) revealing his secrets on the art of close-ups, referencing his acclaimed comedy “Shaun of the Dead” and several other scenes from Wright’s film. Wright also discusses examples of close-up secrets from James Cameron, Martin Scorsese and Robert Rodriguez as experts of the craft of the close-up.
